In this lesson, you can learn all movements of Part 2 of Chen’s Tai Chi Essential 18 Forms, including Movement 6-10.

Steps:1. Turn left, raise and turn the left toes outward, cross two arms in front of the chest, the left palm inside the right arm; 2. Shift the weight to the left leg, lift the right leg and step to the right front corner; 3. Shift the waist to the right, and bring the left foot to the right foot with the left toes touching the ground, open two arms with the right arm to upward, the left palm presses down.
Requirements: Use the waist to lead the arms to close to each other (Step 1); When step the right foot forward, loosen the left hip joints and keep two elbows float (Step 2); Sink and turn the waist while open two arms (Step 3).

Steps:1. Loosen the hip joints and turn left, swing the right palm to the left, press the left palm backward; 2. Turn right, raise the left arm and swing up inward, the left palm in front of the body, move the right palm inward and press downward, turn the left heel outward; 3. Shift the weight to the right leg, raise the right palm and push to the right with the left palm; 4. lift the left knee, loosen the right hip joint and step the left foot to the left front corner; 5. Shift the weight to the left and turn left, lean the body forward, swing the left palm downward to the left knee, move the right palm inward to the side of ear; 6. form the left hook and raise to the shoulder height, keep the body upright, the right palm drops down to the front of the chest; 7. Push the right palm forward and open to the right side, form the final pose with the hip joints loosened and the shoulder relaxed.
Requirements: When swing and raise the arms, use the waist to lead the movements (Step 1,2); Loosen the right hip joint, sink the waist when lift the left leg and step forward (Step 3, 4); Keep the body straight, Baihui pushes up while the body leans forward (Step 5); Relax the hip joints, use the waist to raise the hook and move the right palm (Step 6, 7).
Applications: Block the attack with two arms, kick the knee or the abdomen of the opponent (Step 1, 2, 3); Catch and grip the wrist of the opponent with the left hand, the right palm pushes the chest of the opponent (Step 5, 6, 7).

Steps: 1. Loosen two hip joints, lower two palms slowly, hold two arms over the left knee; 2. Shift the weight backward to the right leg, two arms move backward in an upward curve, draw the left foot back with the toes touching the ground; 3. Loosen the hip joints, push the palms forward with the left palm in front of the right palm.
Requirements: Lower two arms by sinking the waist (Step 1); When shift the weight to the right leg, two arms float backward, like balloons (Step 2); Push the palms forward with expending feeling of a balloon.
Applications: Catch and hold the kicking leg of the opponent, push forward to fall the opponent (Step 1); Block the attack with two palms and push the chest of the opponent with two palms (Step 2, 3).

Steps: 1. Loosen the right hip joint, brush two palms downward to the right side of the body, lift the left knee; 2. The left foot steps forward, the heel touches the ground, shift the weight forward, at the same time the left arm swings forward in an upward curve; 3. Loosen the left hip joint, turn the left toes outward, shift the weight to the left leg, the right foot steps forward with the heel touching the ground, the right arm swings forward in an upward curve.
Requirements: Loosen the hip joints and shift the weight when step forward, swing the arms forward by turning the waist.
Applications: Block the attack with two palms and the left foot kicks the opponent (Step 1); Lock the opponent’s front foot, push or attack the chest of the opponent (Step 2, 3).

Steps: 1. Shift the weight to the right leg, lift the left knee, swing the left arm forward, close two arms; 2. loosen the right hip joint and sink the waist, the left foot steps to the left front corner; 3. Shift the weight to the left leg, turn left, open two arms downward; 4. Shift the weight to the right leg and turn right, the two arms move up inward, hold the left palm in front of the chest, change the right palm to the fist, hold the fist by the right side of the body; 5. Shift the weight to the left leg, turn left, punch the right fist forward and pull the left elbow backward, the left fist touches the left side of the waist.
Requirements: Loosen the hip joints and sink the waist when lift the leg and step forward (Step 1, 2); When shift the weight, loosen two hip joints and shift the hip downward and backward (Step 3, 4, 5); Punch the right fist with sudden explosive power by twisting the waist and turning the crotch (Step 5).
Applications: Block the attack with two arms, punch the chest of the opponent with the right fist (Step 3, 4, 5).
